Yes, as long as you're on Online Store 2.0 (any theme released since mid-2021). Marqly installs as a Shopify App Embed block, which works without code edits.

The widget renders server-side data and adds a small block to your product page. No external scripts on the storefront, no third-party trackers.

All 24 official EU languages plus Icelandic and Norwegian - 26 in total, covering every EU market plus Iceland and Norway.

The widget will fall back to your default storefront language. We're prioritising new languages based on customer demand - write in if there's one you need.

No. Manufacturer names, addresses and contact details are passed through unchanged - translation isn't appropriate for those fields. The field labels and structural text are localized. Warning text is something you can provide per language.

Marqly handles the product-page information requirements of Article 19 - what your storefront has to show. It does not turn you into a manufacturer, find you a responsible person, write your warnings, or replace your technical documentation. See our GPSR primer for the full picture.

Yes, if you sell to EU consumers. Marqly stores and displays your responsible person's details on every product page, but you have to designate that person separately.

The UK has its own product safety regime (the post-Brexit equivalent of GPSR is still evolving). Marqly currently focuses on EU GPSR (Regulation 2023/988). UK-specific support is on the roadmap.

Through Shopify's billing API. Marqly charges show up on your normal Shopify bill.

Yes. Uninstall removes Marqly's data from your store. We retain backups for 30 days for support purposes, then delete.

Your GPSR configuration (manufacturer, importer, responsible-person and warning details) lives inside your own Shopify store as app metafields - not in Marqly's database. Marqly's own database holds only your store's login sessions, AI-usage counters and an audit log. See our privacy policy for hosting details.
